The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has decided to digitise its affiliation process, enabling educational institutions to apply online through a portal.
The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Lahore Board Chairman Professor Badrul Islam, which was also attended by senior officials of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
Under the initiative, PITB will develop an eBiz portal through which educational institutions will be able to submit affiliation applications online without visiting the board’s offices.
Professor Badrul Islam said the initiative was aimed at simplifying the affiliation procedure, improving data accuracy and eliminating manual processes.
He added that the online system would enhance transparency in the affiliation mechanism and provide educational institutions with more accessible, modern and efficient services.
