On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Traffic Police Punjab have launched some more features/initiatives for the convenience of citizens, and online renewal of regular and international driving license has been started. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has provided a big comfort to the citizens in renewing the regular and international driving license. Throughout the province, citizens will now be able to renew regular and international licenses by making online payments and submitting documents.Spokesman Punjab Police said that renewal of regular and international driving license has been launched through online payment at police service centers, traffic centers, front desks of police stations and public portals as well, Similarly renewal of learner driving license is also going on at the front desk of police stations. The spokesperson of Punjab Police further said that the new Learner and Renew Learner converted to online payment in PKM/traffic centers. While the process of renewal of learner license on online payment is already going on in the public portal and police stations.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has also discarded the old tickets system on the driving license by taking another good step and now citizens will be able to pay their license fee through e-payment system. Spokesperson Punjab Police said that citizens can avail the facilities through public portal of Punjab Police, DLIMS website and Punjab Police App.
IGP Punjab said that the aim of these measures is to make the process of issuance of traffic licenses easier for the citizens and to provide all possible facilities. Moreover, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met DPO Khushab and his team at the Central Police Office in reference of the police station diaries. DPO Khushab Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem while giving a briefing about the performance of Khushab Police said that in the last four months due to the timely actions and effective investigation of Khushab Police, the crime rate in Khushab has reduced by 31%. DPO Khushab said that all 09 police stations of the district have been transferred to the Special Initiative Protocol and in these model police stations Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif, Khushwant Singh, Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi, sacrifices of Khushab Police martyrs and regional culture have been highlighted.
