Deputy Commissioner Umer Farooq Warraich directed the officers of nation buildings departments to ensure timely completion of ongoing development projects earliest so that people can get benefits of government expenditures soon as soon possible. He issued theses views while visiting different development projects in the district, on Thursday.
DC also visited BHU Dheranke Lalke and reviewed availability of treatment facilities in the Basic Health Unit. While inspecting RHC Vaneke Tarar, DC directed the doctors and paramedical staff to perform their duties with the passion of serving the humanity. He checked outdoor, indoor, lab, X-ray room, Ghani Ward, medicine store etc. and reviewed provision of healthcare facilities to patients. He directed the Medical officer of the RHC to improve cleanliness and service delivery and other arrangements. He also visited water supply and disposal unit and standard of cleanliness in Vaneke Tarar.
Meanwhile Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Health, Dr. Farehah Akram Malik said that provision of the best health facilities to the people is my top priority according to the agenda of the Punjab government whereas result-oriented steps would also be initiated to curb menace of quackery and quacks will not be allowed to play with the life of innocent people at all.
While talking to journalists, she said that effective measures would be taken to improve provision of treatment facilities in the government hospitals in the district. She said that quacks did not deserve any mercy and indiscriminate action would be taken against quacks in the district.
