A large number of the Bhawlani Jokhio community men held demonstrations in premises of Thatta press Club against the Makli police for arresting and registering a fake case against their men.Here on Friday.
They said arrest of their men was results of a runing land ownership tussle with influential man of area who is bent to expl them from their villages located in Mal Mari area and hand the lands to different companies.
They said the police on last night arrested their men including, Eadan Jokhio, Sikandar and Raheemdad and have registered a fake case over them on the instigation of influential man.
They said they had been facing five cases already and have been compelled to live away of village because of fear of arrest,which has led to starving situation among thier families.
They demanded of higher authorities to provide protection.
