National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in collaboration with Imperial College London held a live session as part of COP26.
A panel discussion was held with Dr Izhar shah a former Nustian and associated with Imperial college London as a Research Associate who from the conference venue updated about the proceedings of the conference.
NUST’s session featuring speakers including Dr Rabia Liaquat, a seasoned academician and researcher in energy studies at NUST, PHD Scholar M.Zaaid Masood Khan, and NUST Environment Club (NEC) President Zia Ur Rehman and NEC Environment Secretary Herman Nasir talked about the innovative approach of NUST in responding to the issue of climate change and on activating the public networks for action.
The speakers were moderated by Director Center for Counseling and Career Advisory (C3A) Mr Ali Hasnain Sayed who framed the domains of discussion on possible collaborations between the two institutes pertaining to a science based adaptive approach presenting NUST’s significant contributions to the global cause of Climate Action as an SDGs-engaged university. The session was broadcast live from NUST’s official Facebook and Instagram page.
