DPM reaffirms Pakistan’s commitment to further deepen ties with Türkiye
British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott called on Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.
Discussions centered on Pakistan-UK relations, and the understandings reached during the Deputy Prime Minister’s recent visit to the UK in August, and ways to further strengthen cooperation across areas of mutual interest. Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of sustained high-level engagement and also discussed regional and international developments of mutual interest. Ambassador of Türkiye in Pakistan Irfan Neziroglu on Friday called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, wherein they discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on the evolving regional situation.
The ambassador briefed the deputy prime minister on progress under various bilateral institutional mechanisms aimed at advancing cooperation across a range of areas, following recent high-level interactions between Pakistan and Türkiye.
