Federal Minister for Finance Shaukat Tarin has said that the government through interest free schemes is providing small loans to the citizens to help them boost their business.
Talking to a private news channel here on Thursday, he said that the citizens were not being provided small loans by micro finance banks due to the complicated process.
Shaukat Tarin said the government has achieved the tax collection target and hoped that all affairs with the International Monetary Fund will be resolved in upcoming meeting.
The government was focusing on increasing the power generation and it was not in favor of hike in tariff for it leads to inflation in the society, he added.
The Finance Minister further stated that the government was also focusing on exports to put the national economy on the right track.
