Hunger
Subsequent to dissecting current conditions that the world is entangled in, one can’t resist the opportunity to be exemplified by a specific sentiment of fear. The current pandemic combined with global warming, food instability and extraordinary disparity between rich and poor has brought down expectations of those individuals who wish for a splendid future.
In any case, while it is important to maintain a vision and hope for a better future, present concerns cannot be brushed aside. As indicated by a UN Food and Security organisation report, almost a billion people in Asia need satisfactory and sustainable food calories. The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), appraises that around one of every five of Pakistanis, equal to in excess of 200 million individuals, are malnourished. These numbers are disturbing and need immediate official attention. NGOs should also offer their assistance, so as to beat this situation, and all should work together to improve the circumstances. This is an ideal opportunity to think and act fast.

Future of libraries
A library is a necessity of life and not a luxury even though we are living in a digital era. Modern technology has changed our life-style completely. Technology has all but reshaped our reading and learning habits. The love for books is gradually vanishing from people, particularly youths.
It is also possible that reading habit will completely vanish from youngsters and the children, even students in professional colleges and so on. They prefer to access books from the Internet for their comforts and mostly modern parents don’t give toddlers, storybooks and instead hand over their smart phones or tablets. This is the time we all did our bit to save the reading environment. We have to modernise our libraries, be innovative and introduce technology to entire youths to become readers.

Happy Teachers‘ Day
The World Teachers’ Day is internationally celebrated every year on October 5, to acknowledge and thank teachers for their role and contribution in our academic, intellectual and moral upbringings. They not only teach, but also inspire and encourage students to be the best they can be. On this day, the importance of this prestigious profession is highlighted. A teacher shapes his/her students through knowledge, patience, love and care. Teachers have huge respect and reputation in developed countries. They are highly trained, given adequate salaries and honour.
Behind every successful nation, there are passionate and hard-working teachers, as they want their students to excel in life. Over and above, a teacher is someone who spends his or her whole life in giving quality education to students. Teachers uplift country’s literacy rate and change the way people think or act. Teachers try their best to bring all the students on the right track by motivating them positively towards their studies. When a teacher becomes friendly in class, students pay more attention, producing better results. And good teachers leave a good impression on their students. William Arthur, one of the most quoted American writers explains, “The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.” Since a teacher’s profession is considered as the best and ideal profession in the world, a good teacher never loses patience and teaches every student according to student’s level of understanding and capacity.
In addition, a teacher is considered to be the builder of a good nation. Nevertheless, teachers are the backbones of every nation; without teachers, no country can prosper and sustain its prosperity and freedom, for they are the ones who always talk about rights, justice and freedom. A.P.J Abdul Kalam remarked, “If a country is to be corruption-free and a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members can make a difference.
