Prince Harry left his hoard of Zoom participants in fits of laughter over his candid admittance on being “too old” to be compared.
This all happened in one of his most recent Zoom meetings. It was there that the prince candidly quipped about his age and even admitted that he feels “too old compared to these guys.”
However, that revelation did not sit right with Meghan Markle as she scoffed at her husband by saying, “You’ve got to stop, We’re not old!”
According to People, Prince Harry was quoted saying, “I love that fact that you’re all so well connected as well. That’s why this platform was created—to bind you guys together. To use that thinking, that awareness, that self-awareness that you guys have to be able to make the world a better place. I say ‘you’—I want to include us, but I already feel as I’m way too old…”
While Prince Harry seems to be flustered overturning 36 and aging more “compared to these guys”, Meghan seems rather chipper over the idea and believes “That’s not aging” at all.
Moreover, Even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle worked through every loophole to deny a royal title for their baby, it appears the young royal heir might be forced to follow some exhaustive rules despite being physically severed from the crown.
The rule which might seem the most jarring to Archie will be the 2013 Succession of the Crown Act which will ultimately give the reigning monarch complete authority over marriage permission to anyone, or above under sixth-in-line to the throne.
A constitutional expert Iain MacMarthanne elaborated upon the royal rule, claiming that even if Archie completely shuns active royal duties, he will still be forced to abide by certain rules.
The Mirror elaborated upon the next royal protocol, claiming, that while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle refused their child a royal title at birth, Archie will automatically be provided one after his grandfather takes up the throne. It will only be after his 18th birthday however, that Archie will have the option to deny it on his own accord.—AP
