Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government Syed NasirHussain Shah attended a function held at Jinnah Sindh Medical University on the occasion of Independence Day. He hoisted the flag and cut the cake at the event in presence ofVice-Chancellor Jinnah Sindh Medical University Syed Muhammad Arif Rafi, PPP MPALal Chand Okrini, Pro-Chancellor ShahidRasool, Principal GhulamSarwar and large numberof guests. The minister said on the occasion that today is a blessing that we received in the case of Pakistan. “For Pakistan, all political parties, people belonging to all religions or from any sect are all one. Shah said political differences have their place but for Pakistan we are one and no matter what the government is, the whole nation is airon wall in front of the enemy and for the security of Pakistan. “Today we must also remember our Kashmiri brothers who have been fighting for independence and enduring oppression for 70 years and fighting against the atrocities of India.” NasirHussain Shah also inaugurated the newly constructed Ali Mosque at Jinnah Sindh Medical University. At the end of the ceremony, the Information minister was presented with a traditional Ajrak, a cap and a commemorative shield.
