At least six residential houses were gutted in an incident of fire in Sopore area of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The incident took place when a massive fire engulfed Shahbad area of the town.
The fire within no time spread to other houses.
There was no loss of life; however, besides houses property worth millions of rupees were gutted in the blaze. The fire has rendered more than six families homeless.
Locals, however, urged the authorities to provide financial assistance to the victim families.
Pertinently, it is reported that the destruction of properties and houses is cowardly act of Indian armed forces and their agents associated with RSS, BJP, VHP ideology aimed at weakening the economy of people of Kashmir.—KMS
