Indian forces continued cordon and search operations in different area of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The army and paramilitary forces conducted operations against pro-freedom activists in different areas of Islamabad, Kulgam, Pulwama,Kupwara,Poonch and Rajouri districts.
Indian troops and paramilitary personnel continue their searches in Chakoora area of Shopian on second consecutive day, today, subjecting the residents to severe harassment and intimidation.
The troops also launched cordon and search operations in Beri Patan and Siot areas of Rajouri district.
Special Investigation Unit of Indian police in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir conducted a raid in Pulwama district, today.
The SIU personnel carried out raid at the house of Hurriyat activist, Sheikh Sayurl Nisar, at Wopalwa in Awantipora area of the district. The raid was conducted in connection with a false case registered against him in Awantipora police station.
It is to mention here that dreaded Indian investigating agencies launch house raids every now and then on the house of the people affiliated with the ongoing freedom movement. India’s National Investigation agency carried out searches in different areas of the territory, yesterday, and arrested a father-son duo.—KMS
