Taluka Hospital Jati, the only major health facility of densely populated Taluka is also bearing harsh consequences of this worst power wrath as the X-ray service at the hospital has been suspended besides that the sweltering heat had made this worse for the patients admitted there.
“We use torches or candles to examine patients during the night shift”, said the Medical Superintendent of the hospital.
A similar situation prevails in the educational institute of the Taluka where there is no alternative source such as a generator or solar panel through which temporary relief could be provided to the students as a result they too are getting an education in a suffocating atmosphere.
A line-man appointed by HESCO for Jati and its adjoining areas told this correspondent on condition of anonymity that abundant use of electric compliances in shops, factories.
