4-year-old girl pronounced dead ‘miraculously’ returns to life during funeral bath in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD – A four-year-old girl pronounced dead by doctors miraculously returned to life a funeral bath, prompting panic among people in Punjab’s Faisalabad city.

She was declared dead by medical experts of Children’s Hospital Lahore and a death certificate was also issued for further legal procedure.

The girl was identified as Meerab, a resident of Mansorabad area of Faisalabad.

Family told media that Meerab was shifted to the hospital in Lahore in an unconscious state where doctors broke the sad news and handed the body.

The body was later taken back to her hometown.

When the minor girl was being given the funeral bath, some family members felt the girl’s pulse and immediately called the Rescue 1122.

Reports said that the rescue officials managed to restore Meerab’s breathing and heartbeat with the help of artificial respiration.

The girl has been shifted to Children’s Hospital in Faisalabad for the treatment.
