30 judges elevated to additional session judge position

Sindh Government has promoted 30 senior civil judges from BPS-19 to the position of Additional Sessions Judge (BPS-20), following recommendation promotion committee.

This decision was formalized in a notification issued by the provincial Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department. The promotions were approved by the competent authority, Chief Minister of Sindh, and were based on the seniority of the judges.

The promoted judges include Khushi Muhammad, Waseem Ahmed, Abdul Razaque, Mirza Tauseef Ahmed, Abdul Haseeb, Abdul Ghaffar Khoso, Noor Muhammad, Ahmed Raza Abro, Atta Hussain Maitlo, Muhammad Aslam Chandio, Ms. Neelam, Ahsan Haider Shah, Ali Bux Thebo, Muhammad Tahir Abassi, Bilawal Pirzado, Nizamuddin, Muhammad Abid, Mir Hassan, Muhammad Ali Ruk, Ms. Kashmala, Muhammad Akmal, Ghulam Abass Memon, Muhammad Bux Chang, ArjanLal, Ms. Zashia Rehman, Sibghatullah Patoli, Syed Aijaz Ali Shah, Ishtiaq Ahmed Memon, Bagh Ali Shar and Faiq Ali Pathan. The notification indicates that these judges will serve on probation for a period of two years in their new roles.
