In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference President, Farooq Abdullah, has said that 15,000 Kashmiri youth are working for India’s Intelligence Bureau (IB) as spies on the peo-ple.

Farooq Abdullah addressing a gathering in Shopian district maintained that many local youth of the occupied territory have become agents of the BJP-led Indian government. “You do not know who is with them and who is with us. You get scared,” he said.

“Today, the IB (Intelligence Bureau) gives money to our children. They have trained 15,000 youths. They (youths) take money from them (IB) every month. They do not know that they (security establishment) will kill them tomorrow, the way they kill others,” he said.

The NC leader said the youths had been given mobile phones so they can tip off the Indian security establishment about the activities of others. “They think it will always be like this. They are giving mobiles to inform them about what is happening where. You please keep a watch over your kids,” he said.

Meanwhile, in a media interview in Srinagar, Farooq Abdullah said that the stronger Pakistan remains, the better it is for India. He said, “Pakistan is a separate country. What they do, is their job. All that we want is for Pakistan to stay strong.”—KMS
