Zain Qureshi, the son of former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and a sitting member of the National Assembly, has taken legal action to uncover details of cases filed against him nationwide. Today, Zain Qureshi, represented by lawyer Bukhari, lodged a petition in the Islamabad High Court, naming the Home Secretary, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Commissioner of Islamabad, and Inspector Generals (IGs) of all four provinces as respondents.
In the petition, it’s asserted that Zain Qureshi, in his capacity as a parliamentarian, has never engaged in any unlawful activities. Allegations of false and groundless cases being leveled against him during previous administrations, including the caretaker government, were highlighted.—APP
