A youth killed his neighbourer and injured sister-in-law for honour and escaped the scene here on Friday.
According to details, the incident took place in village Ghartal of Faisalabad where accused Asif opened fire at his sister-in-law (wife of elder brother) and neighbourer after found them engaged in immoral activities.
As a result of firing, neighbourer Sufiyan was killed on the spot and the woman sustained bullet wounds. The culprit fled the scene of crime.
The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Jhumra for postmortem and the injured lady was rushed to Allied Hospital in critical condition.—INP
