A 22-year-old woman tragically lost her life, allegedly at the hands of her husband in Baldia area, Irfan, as reported by local police on Thursday. Following the incident, Saba’s father recounted a distressing phone call from Irfan, in which he instructed him to come and retrieve his daughter’s lifeless body.
He further revealed that Irfan had a documented history of violence against Saba, often committing acts of aggression in front of their two young children, leaving them in a state of trauma. Irfan, who was revealed to struggle with substance abuse, had previously inflicted harm on Saba. She had married him three years ago in a court ceremony, only to later discover his addiction issues. Saba’s mother expressed her anguish, explaining how she had often urged her daughter to return home for safety. “I would tell her to stay with us, but he would repeatedly call and summon her,” she lamented. In the wake of this tragedy, police confirm that Irfan hails from Sadiqabad and efforts are underway to apprehend him.
Investigators have gathered evidence from the crime scene, and a murder case will be filed following the post-mortem examination of Saba’s body.
