No bloc policy
Our Prime Minister’s recent visit to Russia was highlighted very much in the media and a lot of questions were asked not only on national platforms but the international community also took notice of it and kept a close eye on the visit. Relations between Pakistan and Russia go way back. The history tells that around 1948 Pakistan had an option to join the American or Russian bloc and we did choose America, the effects of this decision we have been feeling up till now.
The present government always has a hint of Nationalism in its policies which is a big “YES” for underdeveloped countries like ours. Our Foreign Minister also said that Pakistan will be following a “no bloc policy”, of which I am not so sure about.
Lets look at things objectively. Pakistan-America relationship had always had lack of trust from both sides. After Pakistan is on its way to put meddle on the peddle with CPEC and TAPI gas pipeline Project (Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India Natural Gas Pipeline) is almost in its execution stages, now is the time not to pick a side and give our country and its citizens all the facilities which they deserve or should I say, a 21st century country must have.
In my previous publications, I have always recommended that nationalism is a double edged sword. By not picking any side, we have to be on spot with our national policies. This no bloc policy will be effective or not, only time will tell.

Except Sindh: PM address
This refers to ‘Address to the Nation‘ by incumbent Prime Minister of Pakistan the other day. The Premier said that he had announced ´Health Card‘ for backward people of Pakistan. It will be for all provinces of Pakistan except Sindh. This is totally unfair, and is discriminatory treatment with the people of Sindh. PPP-run government for more than one decade, has been grinding the locals into unending poverty.
Imran Khan must think of the supporters from Sindh who stood with him in his difficult times. It still reminds me of Political Jalsas of the Premier in Sindh. Hundreds of thousands of locals used to gather in his honour. The locals supported him for only cause that he would help them get rid of the ruling party – PPP. However, the Premier adopted the unjust discriminatory behaviour. Youths of Sindh are still hoping in the premier. He must not destroy the hopes of the youth.

Modi playing a smart game
All said and done, we can conclude that the Russia-Ukraine conflict occurred due to the inefficient leadership of USA.
Secondly, India under PM Narendra Modi is playing a smart game in this hour of crisis. Let’s pray and hope that the war ends soon and issues are solved through diplomatic talks.

Great victory
I would like to congrats the Lahore Qalandars on their first victory in the PSL Trophy against Multan Sultan. I appreciated all the players of Lahore Qalandars for their praiseworthy performance in the match, especially, Muhammad Hafeez who had scored 69 runs under pressure while defending. The efforts of young players deserve more especially for Shaheen Shah Afridi who led the team and became the champion of PSL season 7.
After a long period of seeing one of the best teams for their first victory in PSL history. Pakistan Super League (PSL) is one of the best leagues in the world for showing the inner talent of overseas players as well countries that have shown their performance worth in this season. I hope they will struggle more next year for the championship.

Lack of skilled education
In Pakistan, studies are just up to books. Students are encouraged to learn what is written in the book, learn it and write it on paper. This is only promoting the knowledge accumulating in the brain with no effects in practical life. There are 174 universities in Pakistan but still, our country is making no progress in fields of science.
Government should take steps to overcome this main issue. In universities, more practical work should be taught than that of book work. Creative work should be done in schools and colleges which make students more capable of the development and progress of our country. More technical education should be promoted and institutions should be made so the students learning in books can implement in their real life. They should be given financial support in doing different experiments in universities and labs so Pakistan can be in the list of developed countries.
Pakistan is considered to be the fifth-largest young country in the world. Around 63% population comprises youths aged between 15 and 33. So we should give chance to our youths to come out from the books and show what they have learned from their education. It will not only lead to the development and progress of Pakistan but also encourage more and more students to study. This will also make our economy strong because our major imports are the products that are not manufactured in Pakistan. This is because the students are not provided with labs and equipment so they can make also those things in our homeland and supports our economy by also exporting them
