Obscene videos

Obscene videos have emerged on social media which does not seem to bother either PTA, law enforcement or other state regulatory bodies, which on slightest pretext have no issue banning Tik-Tok, a Chinese owned internet application, although the contents of those video clips were not as vulgar.

These vulgar videos target politicians, belonging to both the opposition and government coalition. Earlier an organized campaign was launched against certain select members of judiciary.

Question arises why the state shows tolerance for such malicious content being shown on the internet, while it reacts instantaneously when such a detestable campaign is initiated against certain select members of the paid elite.

While elected and paid public office holders are open to public scrutiny and criticism, they both have right to protect their private lives and not be subjected to doctored malicious and slanderous campaigns aimed at their character assassination.

There exists a Cyber Crime Agency in Pakistan whose job is to regulate such slanderous video or audio content, especially when it aims to blackmail citizens of Pakistan involved in performance of their assigned professional roles.

Politicians play a vital role in any democracy, especially in a country created through a democratic, constitutional political struggle led by politicians of the caliber and integrity of Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal etc.

It is the responsibility of the state and all its paid institutions to ensure that there is a level playing field for all registered political parties, so that they can interact with their electorate in the pursuit of their political objectives.

The State must, however, ensure that extremist, sectarian and ethnic organizations, which the constitution does not allow, have no role to perform.

Global warming

Global warming: its meaning is yet not understandable for most of people. So, global warming is a moderate rise in overall temperature of the atmosphere to the earth.

There are various activities taking place which are extremely harmful for the earth as well its dwellers.

Therefore, we need to understand the causes of global warming There are numerous causes of global warming both natural and man-made. Global warming has become a grave, pensive and persistent problem.

It does not take place because of single folly but the bulk of blunders and several causes pave the way to its emergence.

The natural causes include the greenhouse gases, which are not able to escape from earth, where volcanic eruptions are also accountable for global warming. Similarly, methane is also one substantial issue for global warming.

The influence of global warming is exceedingly significant. There are multiple hazardous effects that will occur in future, if global warming continues.

Its incorporates melting of polar ice caps, leading to an expansion to sea level, drowning cost lands and gradually inundating continents.

There are several solutions through which we can get rid off this threat. To diminish the global warming, we can give away by decreasing the production and attentiveness of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere.

The entire world needs to restrain utilisation of gasoline, electricity and industrialisation that cause global warming.

It might be challenging but it is not entirely impossible. Global warming can be stopped, when combined efforts are put in place. For that individuals as well as governments have to take action towards achieving it.

Deforestation must be banned and we should plant more and more trees so as to make this world green again. That’s how global warming could be tackled.

Meaningless Zimbabwean literacy

I find it insane, lacking in memories and unreasonable for the Zimbabweans who considered themselves highly educated and with the highest level of literacy to select an old man Emmerson Mnangagwa as presidential candidate in 2023.

This current President will be 81 in 2023 and Zimbabweans have campaigned and supported massively the removal of Mugabe saying that they want a young leader to govern this country which has been mismanaged for a long time.

It is unbelievable and completely out of order that the same Zimbabweans, particularly those who belong to ZANU PF have chosen Emmerson Mnangagwa as the presidential candidate in 2023.

Zimbabweans, despite their highly rated level of literacy and education, have repeated the same error in judgement.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has failed to improve the economic and social conditions in Zimbabwe after the ousting of Robert Mugabe.

He never improved economic conditions so that Zimbabweans scattered everywhere as foreigners will come back home, particularly in South Africa where the Zimbabwean population is hovering around 6 million.

The highly rated Zimbabweans in terms of literacy and education should use common sense and reflect on the failures of Mugabe due to fatigue and old age.

The Zimbabweans should vote massively against Emmerson Mnangagwa 2023 presidency and completely reject the economic meltdown and other hardships which have forced nearly 7 million citizens to migrate to South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
