HRW report exposes India
In its report, Human Rights Watch said that Indian government policies and measures are aimed at targeting minorities. India has formulated policies to systematically discriminate against Muslims, and has not conducted an impartial investigation into the Delhi riots in which scores of Muslim lives were lost.
Meanwhile, UN Special Envoy for Minority Affairs Fernand De Varennes and Special Representative for Freedom of Religion and Belief Ahmed Shaheed said the change in Kashmir’s land laws had further reduced the protection afforded to the region. The UN envoy urged the Indian government to ensure the protection of the economic, social, and cultural rights of the people of illegally occupied Kashmir. The whole world, including international bodies and organizations, is aware of India’s cruel, anti-Muslim policies, but there is no force that can control India at this time. Reports and statements alone don’t do anything, but India is intensifying its atrocities every day.
Also, the other day, three youths were martyred in Budgam district of Occupied Kashmir during brutal operations and house-to-house searches. Therefore, the United Nations and other international organizations should give the people of Occupied Kashmir the right to self-determination and ensure the protection of life, property, religion and culture of all minorities, including Muslims living in India, otherwise the silence of the world will give India more impetus for atrocities.

UN without Muslims rep!
After First World War, a forum (League of Nations) was organized at the initiative of victorious Allied Powers to resolve international disputes. Based in Geneva, it assumed working on 10 January 1920. Its Executive Members were chosen on the basis of – population, arms and army (***). But, it was formally disbanded on 19 April 1946! Again; after (WW–II, 8 May 1945) it was felt necessary to create an honest & strong organization for settlement of disputes in the interest of humanity. So, after long think-and-thought on 24 Oct 1945, United Nations came into existence. So, since 1948, October 24 is marked across the globe as UN Day. Its Charter was (also) ratified on the basis of population, arms and army. So China, France, Soviet Union, UK and US became member of the august body. China was enlisted into UN on the basis of population. Thereafter; Security Council was also established (namely) United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
The most thinkable; deserveable; logical… (Question) arises that, though, UN is a reasonable platform, yet without representation of second largest population of 1.8b Muslims having resources and atomic power also (?) So, injustice with Muslims is going on till now. It is crystal-clear in case of Kashmir; Palestine, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria… Is there any non-Muslim population, faced/facing such barbaric disparity/terrorism (?) Answer is a big NO!
Irrespective of any bias, till now, it is felt that UN was/is established for killing Muslims only. So, scribe intends to request Muslim leaders to wake up (please) and raise voice for representation in the UN on the basis of (second largest) religion-wise population (!). In this way solution of disputes; disparities; injustice… going on with Muslims could be stopped. Otherwise, UN without Muslim representation would remain – a dummy platform de facto.

Higher fee and poor education
The problem in our society is that the rich people are getting richer and the poor, poorer. This has resulted in increased poverty and it can be dangerous for society too. People having enough money for quality education can easily approach a good educational institution, while the economically poor students are not getting the opportunity to study at a place which can offer brighter future prospects. Illiteracy can increase in case education does not reach the unprivileged child population.
Poverty is also due to having less income and greater expenses to fulfil the needs. The higher fee charged by institutions is affecting the students badly. Higher fees of schools, colleges and universities are now getting more common in institutions.
The authorities should think about how they can offer the country with the facilities at an affordable fee. The problem should be resolved. A little attention towards this situation can result in the big relief for the students not being able to get quality education. Poverty can also be solved by improving the economic structure of the country. This problem should be resolved as soon as possible so the inequality between distribution of educational resources can be diminished.

Conscientious objectors
Prime Minister Imran Khan said, “Senate election hijackers are a stain on democracy. They have used money everywhere. Open voting is the only way to stop horse trading in the Senate.” Prime Minister Imran Khan’s commitment to stop horse trading is commendable, but the path of horse trading cannot be stopped without setting a precedent for conscientious objectors and traders of conscience.
In this regard, while Prime Minister Imran Khan is unique in making bold decisions in many other matters, he should also take stern action against horse trading and start with action against his party members involved in the business of Venality. Do with Just as the Prime Minister dismissed Sultan Muhammad Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from the ministry, action should be taken against those involved.
