Smart lockdown
The government has changed lockdown with smart lockdown because it is not possible for the government to help all the needy people because the population of Pakistan is huge and the government doesn’t have enough facilities to serve the whole country. Prime minister Imran Khan is trying his best to use the maximum helping strategies but we are not as such developed as China and there are many difficulties and challenges the government is facing at the moment.
As it is the month of Ramadan people have to visit markets to get daily needs. In these circumstances the government has allowed the people to go outside to purchase the household items. In the month of Ramadan basic food stores and fruit and vegetable markets will remain open for the convenience of the people. Even in this situation people need to be careful to only go out for their need and avoid social interaction.

Listen to doctors!
In the whole world Coronavirus is spreading at an exponential pace. In Pakistan, number of cases are increasing day by day as people are not taking lockdown seriously. Doctors are worried because they are also infected by this virus. If doctors are infected by this virus, who will take care of patients. Doctors say the healthcare system of Pakistan is very weak. There are not only patients of Coronavirus but also many other patients, who have been discharged by the hospital authorities to spare space for the Coronavirus patients. This move of the authorities, if not condemnable, is also not laudable.
The doctors have urged the nation that if we want this virus to be finished early we must keep ourselves at home. The increase in Corona patients is dangerous. We can have a look at the superpower America or other developed countries that are also facing difficulties in curing Corona pandemic because its spreading rate is too high. So the control of Coronavirus is not only in doctors’ hand but also ours. Therefore, it is our responsibility as a nation to understand and follow the SOPs to keep ourselves safe.

HEC decision?
Higher Education Commission (HEC) has asked all universities to initiate online classes. This is a good initiative as all educational institutions are closed due to the COVID-19 but there are many problems in attending online classes for students.
Many students who live in rural areas do not have high speed internet connections that online classes require and thus fail to catch up with their classmates. I myself is an affectee as today I was supposed to present my assigned topic but I failed to do so because of my slow internet speed.
Computer literacy is another major problem, most of the students like medical students, cannot operate basic programs such as Microsoft Word and Power Point and therefore not able to handle their files. Furthermore, many students find fixing basic computer problems troublesome, as they have no knowledge in this area.
Higher Education Commission (HEC) and University authorities should take into acount these problems of students and extend vacation and consider the vacation as summer vacation.

Online studies
The government has issued instructions to the teachers to start online classes but failed to get the dividends. Students have paid heavy dues in their universities but teachers are instructing to send them online assignments without giving any lectures and proper guidance. It is not at all fruitful because majority of students are just copying from Google and further pasting and sending to their advisors. Teachers are demanding assignments both in hard and soft forms. They have made WhatsApp groups in which students are just making fun and passing their leisure time. Rare are the teachers who are serious, providing material and giving lectures to the students.
Moreover, many students who are residents of villages and backward areas have no proper internet facility; most of them have no laptops. I’m not against online classes and assignments but it is vital to expose the hidden truth. Students are already upset due to the Coronavirus pandemic and our universities are over stressing them. Universities should give semester break and continue the proper study after reopening them or government should do proper check and balance of teachers. #Stay home, #Stay Safe

Freedom of speech
Freedom of speech is the right of every human being as well as for living an independent life. Everyone needs to be free to express his or her sorrows, necessities etc. But still, freedom of speech is lacking in our societies and even in our country. Mostly, women are deprived of expressing what they want and wish to do in their life; they cannot highlight what wrong is happening to them.
Undoubtedly, without telling and expressing, no one can know what is happening to someone. It simply means that freedom of speech is the need as well as the right of the people. In short, I request the people who do not let women or other people to speak fearlessly that avoid doing this because they have the right to express.

Supply chain visibility
Supply chain visibility is important in every aspect. Everyone has different meaning in his mind regarding “Supply Chain Visibility”. It can be the understanding the operational performance of overall supply chain including Inbound and Outbound. SCV permit organizations to reconfigure their supply chain resources for greater competitive advantage. It also enables to improve the strategic performance. By sharing each other’s experience among supply chain can lead to create new knowledge about the innovative resources. SCV help in collecting and sharing information from multiple departments, so that the detailed pictures of poor activities are identified.
It helps organizations to gain understanding about the activities that are threat and helps take decisions in time to allocate resources to defend themselves. It helps to reduce risks and costs, improve performance, identify problem. Let us see an example of healthcare. Visibility will start from the raw material that is the chemical plant. They assign RFID or tags to each chemical drum in order to save the data electronically. Pharmaceutical manufacturers then process the raw material and chemical. The pills and liquids are placed in secure packaging and tagged with barcode or RFID which help provide the transparency regarding the chemicals used by the manufacturer to wholesalers.
Further an audit is done in order to provide product safety. SCV is two side flow of information that helps to recognize the problem and suggest suitable solution with the help of joint information coming from each individual of the organization. The integration of chain externally and internally improves supply achievement.

India heading backward!
It is very sad that in a country like India, some Hindus refuse to accept food items and groceries from delivery boys who are Muslims. Instead of moving forward, India is heading backwards. And all this is happening after Narendra Modi has become the PM of India.
