The technical failure reportedly caused difficulties for wardens attempting to complete enforcement proceedings at the spot. As a result, routine action against traffic violators is reportedly being affected in several areas.
The malfunction comes at time when the digital application plays a key role in processing traffic violations and issuing challans. With the system unavailable, traffic wardens are facing hurdles in carrying out normal procedures.
Sources in traffic police said that the problem is linked to a technical fault in the application. The outage has affected operations not only in Lahore but also in different areas across Punjab.
Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has reportedly deployed teams to address the technical issue and restore the application.
Officials said efforts are underway to bring the One App back online, after which the routine challan system is expected to resume.
For now, however, the technical breakdown has left traffic enforcement operations facing an unusual disruption, raising questions over the system’s dependence on the digital platform for on-the-spot action.
