The harassment and torture victim Parveen Rind recorded her statement at women police station in Shaheed Benazirabad on Friday.
Ms Rind reached the office of Shaheed Benazirabad DIG Police Khadim Hussain Rind along with her uncle Ali Nawaz Rind. She met the DIG and presented evidence of her torture and harassment to him.
Then she went to the women police station and recorded her statement. In her statement she said that she could recognize university female officials who beat her up. The officials included: Atiqa, Farida Vigan and Fareen Dehri. A few days ago, Ms Rind, a nursing house officer in Peoples University of Medical and Health Sciences for Women in Nawabshah, uploaded a video on social media alleging that she was beaten up and locked in the hostel room by three officials of the university.—INP
