Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Friday forecast partly cloudy weather with light rain and snowfall in Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas during the next 24 hours.
Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. According to the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave was present over upper and central parts of the country.
During the last 24 hours, cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in hilly areas. However, rain occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Attock and Muzaffarabad. The rainfall recorded during the period was Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Peshawar (AP 06mm, City 05), Cherat 06, Saidu sharif, Malamjabba, Parachinar 02, Chitral 01, Punjab: Attock 01 and Kashmir: Muzaffarabad 01mm.—APP
