Khuda Bux Brohi Thatta
A large member of Thatta Municipal Committee employees including by Men, women and children took out a rally and protested against non-issuance of their salaries for the last two months on Wednesday.
The rally was taken out from Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) office and culminated outside Thatta press club, where they chanted slogans in favour of their demands.
Abdul Sattar Qureshi, Hanif Chand, Ghulam Nabi Brohi, Syed Juman Shah other employees told media men that they and their families are difficult as the newly posted CMO has stopped their salaries.
They said they have seen enormous issues to meet the both ends and have protesting from the last month but said officer not heeding their demand and has stopped salaries with out any logic reason. They demanded of higher authorities to take notice of this matter.Later on, they staged sit in infront CMO office.
Meanwhile Ex chairman TMC Mamtaz Memon on the behalf of Special Assistant to CM Sindh Sadiq Ali Memon arrived on the spot and assured the protesters for resolve their issue.
