PESHAWAR – Authorities have announced three local holidays due to by-election in a constituency in Mansehra city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The administration has issued a notification in this regard, declaring holidays from November 22 to 24. It added that all public and private schools will remain closed for three days in order to avoid any untoward situation.
The by-election is set to be held in NA-18 Mansehra on November 23, 2025.
Meanwhile, Balochistan’s government schools in cold regions will close for 2.5 months starting December 16, giving students an extended winter break.
Exams for Grades 1 to 7 in Chaman are ongoing from November 16 to 24, followed by Grade 8 exams under the Balochistan Board starting November 24. Students across the country are gearing up for a busy exam period and long winter holidays ahead.
In Punjab, winter vacations will start from December 23, 2025, to January 11, 2026, with schools reopening on January 13, 2026, to start the new academic session.
