Three back-to-back Holidays for Schools Students in September

LAHORE – School students are excited for three consecutive holidays in mid September as Eid Miladun Nabi is expected to be held on September 16 (Monday).

Pakistan’s top moon sighting body Ruet-e-Hilal has not announced the arrival of Rabiul Awwal, but the expected day of Eid Milad 2024 is Monday, and along with weekend, it will be three holidays.

To sight the cresent, Ruet members will meet tomorrow on September 4 to formally announce the start of third Islamic month. If the moon is sighted, Rabiul Awal will start on September 5, and Eid Miladun Nabi, will fall on Monday, September 16.

With this approximation, students will enjoy holidays from September 14-16. In second situation, if the moon is not sighted, Eid Miladun Nabi will be observed on Tuesday, September 17, and Monday will be a working day.

Thirs Islamic month Rabiul Awal is special for Muslims as it marks the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The 12th day of this month, known as Eid Miladun Nabi, is celebrated with prayers, recitations, and charitable acts to honor the Prophet’s life and teachings.
