Member National Assembly Chaudhry Shoukat Ali Bhatti and Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Muhammad Asif Raza has inaugurated Spring Tree Plantation under Prime Minister’s 10 Billon Tsunami and Green Pakistan Programme to planted saplings at the lawn of District Complex Hafizabad.
District officers of different departments, journalists, PTI workers and social workers also attended the ceremony.
Government has given target to plant five lakh fifteen thousand saplings in the district Hafizabad during this campaign.
Talking to mediamen on this occasion, MNA Chaudhry Shoukat Ali Bhatti and Deputy Commissioner Muhammas Asif Raza said that in compliance with the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar and Chief Secretary Punjab Kamran Ali Afzal, tree plantation campaign has been launched throughout the district and saplings are being planted in educational institutions, offices, parks, roadsides and other places in the district so that pollution could be eliminated in the country.
