To facilitate the initiative, a 4 days winter ski training program was held at Nalter with the collaboration of the Tourism Department, Government of GB and EvK2CNR on Thursday.
Total 22 trainees participated in the session. In which 10 local participants, 06 rescue members and 06 form Pakistan Air Force.
The purpose of the training courses is to promote winter tourism in Gilgit Baltistan through the sports such as skiing and imparting skills to potential and institutions to cope with any incidents and emergencies trained by the world-renowned trainers from Italy.
Closing ceremony of the Ski training program will be conducted at Karakoram International University Gilgit on March 15 2021.
