The sleuths of Special Investigation Unit of Indian police in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir attached the property of a resistance commander in Kupwara district.
The notorious SIU pasted the notice of attachment on the immovable property of prominent resis-tance Commander, Almas Rizwan Khan in Diver Lolab area of the district.
The SIU Kupwara attached the properties of the Almas Rizwan Khan including 3.25 acres of land at three different locations in Diver Lolab, the official said. The BJP-led Indian government in pursuit of the Israeli model continues to attach the properties, including houses, lands, and offices of the people of IIOJK who are demanding their right to self deter-mination. The Modi regime is using its dreaded agencies like State Investigation Agency (SIA), National Investigation Agency (NIA), SIU and oth-ers for the purpose.
Pertinently, the Indian Hindutva BJP-RSS gov-ernment and its military establishment is silencing the political voice of the people of Jammu and Kashmir through draconian laws and brutal acts.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Uzair Ahmad Ghazali in a statement issued in Muzaffarabad said the confisca-tion of the properties of a well-known resistance commander Almas Rizwan Khan by the sleuths of Special Investigation Unit of Indian police is the worst example of state repression.
He said the Indian government is continuously violating international laws and seizing the lands, properties and assets of citizens in the disputed territory. He termed the attachment of freedom leader Almas Rizwan Khan’s land in Lulab area of Kupwara as a criminal act and urged the United Nations to stop India’s illegal activities in IIOJK.—KMS
