The Chairman of Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU), Ali Raza Syed, has said that the situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is deteriorating with each passing day and the Kashmiris could not be left alone in this scenario.
Ali Raza Syed was talking to Dr Sardar Muhammad Tahir Tabassum, President of Institute of Peace and Development (INSPAD), an international non-governmental organization, and former Advisor to Prime Minister AJK for human rights. Business and social personality of Sheffield, UK, Syed Mohammad Kazmi was also present on the occasion.
Ali Raza Syed said that the people of Kashmir would not hesitate to render any sacrifice for the freedom of Kashmir. He said, every Kashmiri is an ambassador of freedom of Kashmir and stability of Pakistan and there is a need for better policy towards the European Union so that national interests are not harmed.
“We need to make the world aware of the dire situation in Kashmir through our diplomacy,” he said, adding, the KCEU is planning to hold a Kashmir Week in the European Parliament soon.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Tahir Tabassum said that permanent peace in the region was impossible without resolving the Kashmir dispute by giving the Kashmiris their right to self-determination. The people of Kashmir are determined to take their struggle for securing their inalienable right to its logical conclusion, he added.—KMS
