Sindh to get Rs10bn under Kamyab Jawan program: Dar Pakistan blessed with strength of youth: PM Imran

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan is blessed with strength of youth, adding Kamyab Jawan Program would be thunderous success. He was addressing a ceremony to launch “Kamyab Jawan Program in Sindh on Monday. He distributed cheques among the approved applicants. The Prime Minister said that every institution in the country could be a transnational institution if it follows the excellence and transparency. The Prime minister said; “We are deficient in every field due to influence culture which is destructive for the institutions”, adding that society or any program fails when it doesn’t give priority to merit. PM Imran said that Almighty Allah has blessed Pakistan with rich land, having incredible resources for tourism, with 5000-year-old Indus valley civilization and oldest cities like Lahore and Multan with its colorful heritage. Prime minister said that societies, those overlook surpasses the merit, never move frontward. Giving the example of Australia, the PM Khan said the country is successful in every field because it promotes the talent based on excellence. Despite the talent, we overlook the youth with high ambitions. “Our overseas Pakistanis are proof of the talents and capabilities we have. Only, if we can make every department at par with international standards, we have this huge pool of professionals we can utilize. But our system does not support the merit system,” Prime Minister Imran Khan added. Meanwhile addressing the gathering, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs and Chairman of PM’s Youth Programme Usman Dar said that the youth from Sindh would get at least Rs10 billion under this program. Special Assisant to PM Usman Dar said that around 100,000 youth have applied from Sindh under PM’s Kamyab Jawan Programme. In March this year, we will move to other districts of Sindh”, he added. The YES was launched under the banner of Kamyab Jawan Programme in October last year under which Rs100 billion allocated for the youth and loans ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs 5 million would be disbursed among the youth coming up with practicable business ideas.
