Sindh govt acts on polio worker attack

Chief Secretary Sindh, Asif Hyder Shah, has taken strong notice of the recent attack on polio workers in Korangi, instructing the Additional IG Karachi to arrest all culprits immediately. Condemning the violence, he affirmed that such incidents will not be tolerated, and strict legal action will be pursued against the perpetrators.

The Chief Secretary directed the Deputy Commissioner Korangi to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident and ensure decisive action against those responsible. He also called for immediate medical aid for the injured polio workers and police personnel involved in the attack. Asif Hyder Shah highlighted the Sindh government’s unwavering commitment to eradicating polio, emphasizing that the safety of polio workers is a top priority.
