Shamim Shawl to be granted Women’s Leadership Award

Kashmiri woman leader Shamim Shawl will be granted the European International Women’s Leadership Award by the Forum International Du Leadership Féminin for her human rights work she has tirelessly been doing for the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The award-giving ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in Brussels.
The Organisation of Kashmir Coalition (OKC), committed to promoting and projecting Kashmiris human rights and their right to self-determination in a statement greeted Shamim Shawl over acknowledgement of her work for human rights of the Kashmiri people.—KMS
