The Sindh Food Authority (SFA) has taken decisive action against Ideal Bakery in Muhammad Ali Society, District East, under the supervision of Director General Agha FakharHussain. During an inspection, the bakery’s sanitation standards were found to be severely lacking, leading to a fine of Rs 3 lakh. The bakery’s production house was temporarily closed due to the poor hygiene conditions. Director General Agha FakharHussain emphasized that violations of hygiene regulations would not be tolerated.

He urged all businesses involved in food production to obtain a license from the Sindh Food Authority and adhere strictly to hygiene standards. Agha FakharHussain reiterated that the SFA would enforce the Sindh Food Authority Act against those operating without a license or failing to maintain proper hygiene. The action aims to ensure the safety and health of consumers by holding food businesses accountable for their practices.
