NARENDRA Modi-led Hindu nationalist government has sealed the Darul-Uloom Khadijat-ul-Kubra seminary in India-Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and manhandled the Muslim female students.

The occupation forces insulted the women students and threw them out of their dormitory rooms ahead of Friday prayer.

They also poured water in their food so that they could not eat it.The people of the area staged massive protests against the occupation forces and demanded action against the officials involved in the cruel act.

Modi’s hate for Muslims is well known and documented.

From Gujarat massacre to recent Delhi riots and controversial anti-Muslim legislation, he has proved himself as the one who is thirsty for the blood of Muslims.

Several international reports are also warning of the genocide of Muslims in India.

A United Nations human rights expert in a recent report accused the Indian government of tacitly allowing incitement to violence against Muslims.

The situation in IIOJK is far precarious.Rape and molestation is being used as a weapon of war in the occupied territory.

This is being done deliberately to humiliate and demoralize the Kashmiris and to create fear amongst the people in the territory.

The latest incident of closing down a girls’ seminary is yet another manifestation of Indian atrocities.

The world raises hue and cry about the education of women in Afghanistan but has turned a blind eye towards what is happening with the women in IIOJK and India.

These double standards pose a serious threat to peace and stability of this region and the world at large.

Time has come for the world to rise above its political and economic expediency and hold the current Indian leadership for its crimes against humanity.

A strong message in support of these oppressed women and IIOJK people should also come from the Muslim world.

A meeting of OIC Council of Foreign Ministers being held in Islamabad on 22nd March should go beyond mere condemnation resolutions and come up with concrete and practical steps against the tyrant Indian policies.

They should listen to the cries of Indian Muslims and IIOJK people and cut off economic relations with Indian until it corrects the course.
