RUDA declares former Minister’s housing society illegal

Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) on Friday has asked citizen not to sell and buy plots in the Park View Housing Society of former minister Abdul Aleem Khan. The RUDA authorities further said that since society was established on fraudulently obtained land and it was illegal.

Spokesman for RUDA said that an illegal Park View Society Lahore also came on the RUDA’s radar and the authority has stopped citizens from buying and selling property in it.

He disclosed that 8,000 Kanal piece of land is being sold fraudulently in the Park View Society. The spokesperson said advertising of Park View Society has been declared illegal and action will be taken against fraudsters.

The RUDA spokesperson said that no one is allowed to build on the river area and all illegal constructions on the Ravi River will be demolished. The spokesperson said the land mafia is selling 8,000 Kanal pieces of land to the public fraudulently.
