XEN PESCO Tank under the leadership of Rizwanullah Marwat is carrying out a grand operation against (Kunda) direct hook mafia and electricity thieves without discrimination.
XEN Said, PESCO has received fines of more than 43 lakh rupees from electricity thieves and deposited the amount in the national treasury, while the connections of 39 transformers have also been disconnected. XEN Rizwan Marwat said that till now, cases of electricity theft have also been registered against 26 people. XEN said, in a special conversation with the media, that the operation is ongoing against electricity thieves on a daily basis.He said, In the light of the instructions of the Secretary Power Division and the federal government, with the cooperation of the district administration and the police a tough operation is underway against electricity thieves.
Rizwan Marwat said, while talking to the media has said that a grand operation has been launched against electricity thieves in Tank District in different cities and areas.
He said, A special operation is underway in the city under the supervision of SDO Rehmat Ullah Burki, Line Superintendent Fahim Ullah LS Adnan Khan, LS Kaleem Ullah, Divisional Chairman Gul Janan and General Secretary Hussain Ahmed Marwat.
He said, that electricity thieves will not be forgiven in any case and load shedding is being done due to electricity theft
He said, the lesser of theft, the more relief will be given to the consumers.
Rizwan Marwat further said that electricity thieves will not be spared in any way, and my office doors are open to the public.
He said, no one will be unnecessarily disturbing, God willing, Tank will be made a city of lights.
