The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) organized the Global Entrepreneurship Week here on Monday at the chamber house.
In his address, Asim Malik, Senior Vice President, RCCI, said the prime objective of observing the Global Entrepreneurship Week was to help students become job creators rather than job seekers.
He said that youth was the future of Pakistan, adding 140 million people below the age of 30; Pakistan had the youngest population in the world and one of the fastest-growing economies in Asia.
“The gap between industry and academia needs to be bridged”, he added.—APP
