PEF paying fee of 278,000 students

Member Board of Directors Punjab Education Foundation / Member Punjab Assembly Sania Kamran has said that there are 278,000 students studying in more than 12,000 partner schools of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) whose fees are paid by Punjab Education Foundation. Education verification of children is going on through NADRA. After verification, funds are being released to PEF partner schools.
She said this during a surprise visit of PEF Partner School “The National Model School” at Ismailabad in Sialkot. Sania Kamran said that regular monitoring of PEF’s partner schools has been ensured on a monthly basis with the aim of eradicating ghost students / schools which would provide opportunities for eligible children to get education and advancement with PEF funds.She lauded the teachers of PEF schools and said that their salaries would be increased. She also appreciated the efforts of Chairman “The National Model School” Mansoor Sarwar.
