PCB no longer under IPC’s domain

The affairs of Pakistan Cricket Board have been withdrawn from Ministry of Inter-provincial Coordination and transferred to Cabinet Division.

According to a notification issued on Monday, the cricket board will now run directly under Prime Minister’s Office and will no longer be answerable to the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination.
Furthermore, the notification stated IPC Secretary will not be a member of PCB’s Board of Governors.
The development came after Mohsin Naqvi was elected unopposed as Pakistan Cricket Board chairman.
