KARACHI – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed surprise at the low attendance of cricket fans during the final match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9 held at National Stadium Karachi.
The National Bank Cricket stadium hosted 11 matches but the final match between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United witnessed significantly low turnout of the cricket fans and spectators.
As the match ended Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi faced serious questions about the fans and the spectators.
“The PCB will address this issue in the future,” said Mohsin Naqvi while talking to the reporters after the match.
He also said, “Why was the stadium empty in Karachi? This is a puzzle for me and also a big question,”.
Naqvi also said, “Many people came in Multan, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, and it is surprising for me why people did not come in Karachi. We are trying to find a solution to this,”.
