The full-fledge Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Pattika is being made functional in two months time. All requisite electro-medical equipments have been purchased while newly constructed building is near completion. Minister for Health and Finance Dr. Najeeb Naqi and Minister Social Welfare and Women Development in Mrs. Noreen Arif told this while inspecting the newly constructed building at Pattikha here on Thursday.
According to details, the newly built building was earlier designed for thirty bedded capacity later enhanced to fifty considering the population of adjoining areas. The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government had allocated Rs. 80 million for the construction of this hospital in FY 2018-19 while the facility is completed at a cost of 152 million rupees. The 50 bedded Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Pattika, when made functional would serve 0.25 million population in adjacent areas.
