The series is currently tied 1-1. South Africa won the first T20 by 55 runs, while Pakistan bounced back with a nine-wicket victory in the second match. The second T20 also saw former captain Babar Azam achieve a major milestone, becoming the highest run-scorer in T20 internationals.
