Ppp Yet To Decide On No Confidence Motion Against Ajk Pm

ISLAMABAD/ MUZAFFARABAD – The no-confidence motion against Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq continues to face delays and is unlikely to be presented today.

The sources said the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has not yet made a final decision on moving the motion. Members of the legislative assembly (MLAs) who recently joined PPP from the Forward Block are reportedly concerned about the uncertainty.

Some Forward Block members described their switch to PPP as a hasty decision, while PPP legislators are reportedly consulting their leadership on how to approach their constituencies. Sources said PPP MLAs are seeking guidance on how to respond to voters who may question their decision.

Meanwhile, the PPP members have reportedly set up a temporary camp at Kashmir House in Islamabad, indicating ongoing deliberations.

Sources confirmed that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would make the final decision regarding the presentation of the no-confidence motion. However, it is unlikely that the motion would be tabled in the next three to four days.

Both Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and PPP had agreed on moving a no-confidence motion against AJK PM Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq.

However, PML-N has decided not to participate in government formation. If PPP secures the required number of members, it will have the right to form the government, while PML-N will remain in the opposition.
