Pak security forces gun down two militants in Kalat operation: ISPR

QUETTA – Pakistani security forces have eliminated two terrorists in Kalat operation, the military’s media wing said.

A statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations said the operation was conducted late on night of September 6 and into the early hours of September 7 when Security Forces carried out a targeted operation in Kalat District, Balochistan.

The operation was conducted on intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists, and two militants were sent to hell, ISPR said.

Security forces engaged terrorists’ hideout, leading to their death. Alongside neutralizing militants, troops seized substantial amount of weapons, ammunition, and explosives. The deceased terrorists were identified as active participants in multiple attacks against both Security Forces and civilians in the area.

Army’s media wing said the follow-up sanitization operation is ongoing to ensure no further threats remain in the vicinity. Armed forces remain committed to preserving peace and stability in Balochistan, emphasising their determination to combat terrorism and safeguard regional progress.

This operation highlights the Security Forces’ unwavering dedication to disrupting terrorist activities and ensuring the safety and security of locals.
