GAZA – More than 100 people, including women and children, have been martyred in a brutal Israeli bombing which targeted Palestinians during prayer in Gaza.
The latest reports suggested that over 250 Palestinians were performing Fajr prayers at a school in a refugee camp in the al-Daraj area of northern Gaza when Israeli forces bombarded them.
The attack claimed lives of over 100 Palestinians.
The reports said that each of the three bombs dropped by Israeli forces on the school weighed 2,000 pounds. The school, which was targeted, was sheltering displaced Palestinians.
Israel claimed that the school was a Hamas headquarters where terrorists were present while Gaza authorities said that the school was deliberately targeted.
The Palestinian resistance group Islamic Jihad has denounced the Israeli bombing of the al-Daraj school as a blatant war crime.
Since October 2023, Israeli attacks on Gaza have resulted in the deaths of over 39,700 Palestinians and more than 91,700 others got injured.
