Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a visit to the headquarters of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) here on Tuesday. Welcomed warmly by Major General AzharWaqas, Director-General of Rangers (Sindh), Naqvi was greeted with a symbolic laying of flowers at the Martyrs’ Monument followed by prayers. During the visit, Naqvi received detailed briefings on the operational readiness of Pakistan Rangers, ongoing operations against criminal elements in various regions including border areas, and the current security situation in Karachi. He commended the efforts of Pakistan Rangers in combating terrorism, maintaining law and order, and safeguarding the nation’s borders.
Addressing the pressing issues of terrorism, organized crime, and ensuring public safety, Naqvi underscored the government’s commitment to taking all necessary measures for the security and stability of Sindh province, particularly in Karachi. He pledged full support for the relentless efforts of Pakistan Rangers in ensuring peace and security across the region.
The visit signals a renewed determination to tackle security challenges effectively, with a focus on collaborative efforts between law enforcement agencies and the government to bolster security measures and uphold the rule of law.
